Writing Result-based Change Stories & Case-studies

Writing Result-based Change Stories & Case-studies

The five days online short course on ‘Writing Result-based Change Stories & Case-studies’ completed on 5 June 2020. The course started on 1 June. Toya Gautam, Development Communications Expert facilitated the course. Mr Gautam has worked in development communications for more than 2 decades and has experience in publishing numerous result-based case stories and learning documents.

This course offered a study approach and process to dig-out information on unfamiliar topics, and to write good case study pieces and success stories that are fact-based, well analyzed and result-oriented.

What the participants say:

“This course is simple yet effective for new learners as well as for the accomplished technical professionals. It is a good starter for learning story writing. I will try my best to apply these tips while preparing case stories in the future so that the readers can easily understand the feeling of the targeted person as well as the objectives of a whole project.”

Most importantly, I liked the idea of organizing training during this ongoing lockdown due to the current pandemic of Covid-19, people do not have much to do these days. This course created an opportunity to learn something new and sharpen the skill for the future. I would like to encourage other interested ones to take this course mainly for the following  three reasons:

First: The session is one hour only, a short time that many of us can manage.

Second: The training lasts for 5 days only.

Third: The training is held online at Zoom which means its ultimate requirement is the internet and our time.

Overall, I had a great experience participating in this training and would like to thank GrowInnova for this opportunity.”

Student

“I am grateful that at a time of a ‘Pandemic’, I got an opportunity to learn something substantial, that too at an affordable price. I found the materials provided to us and the content of the workshop were effective for our learning. In my opinion, a more practical and interactive situation would enhance the learning further.”
